I hate fanboys…
And i’m a fanboy myself…
Had a colleague in college that was an android fanboy and sometimes I would start a discussion with him just to see him spark up and get frustrated. I used to do this even on arguments he was right and I agreed with him just for the fun of it. All of this because I can’t stand fanboys that don’t understand that some stuff are subjective and the best isn’t always the best.
And still…
I’m a fanboy! I love the IntelliJ IDEs! Been using Android Studio since it was in beta at 0.4, WebStorm for almost half a year and AppCode for the last 3-4 months. Hands down the best IDEs!
Of course there are free alternatives, but quality costs and I happily pay that price for refactoring, deployment, goto functions, autocomplete, debugging, git integration, tests and and and i’m getting too excited here.
More tools
Thing is I like to be organized and use the best tools for what i’m doing. Checking their other products now (Upsource, TeamCity, YouTrack & Hub).
And even though i’m a fanboy I’m reluctant to switch to TeamCity just because Trello is more simple and thus suits the needs of my team better.
Will see…
